One of only a couple of fishmongers in the city the shop on Bird Street remained open until the 1970’s. Now the location of Kiss XX bridal wear.

For over sixty years a fish monger traded from this location in Tamworth Street. First Pounton’s in the 1920, Roses in the 1930’s and finally Mullarkey’s up until 1983.
