By the time this photo was taken the Smithfield had been renamed to the Sozzled Sausage.  The pub closed in 2007 and was demolished in August 2008 for the Tesco redevelopment.

To me it would always be the Smithfield, a place where Dave would collect the glasses, although he was never asked to, just to try and squeeze a free pint out of Mick.
