The Loungers Ltd was founded in 2002 with the first Lounge opening in Bristol in August of that year. Loungers now operate in over 100 locations across the UK. 

The Lichfield Lounge opened its doors in the listed building on Market Street in 2016, it was previously the location of the Co-Operative bank.
