The family run opticians opened in the city in 1969 as D. G. Arthur at number 7 Market Street, now Bustle.  They relocated to number 9 Market Street after the closure of the a clothes shop where they have continued to serve the people...

Vision Express moved here in 2012 after spending many year locationed at the old M.E.B shop opposite what was once Levetts Square. Poundworld was the next to move in.
