Texas Homecare was the first store to occupy this location until the mid 1990s. Most people from Lichfield will remember it as Carols - The supermarket with a whole lot more! the place for all your cut price items before Lichfield became home to the more popular pound shops.

The building was home to several businesses after Carols closed including Big D Homestores and later Whats!

The building was demolished in 2016 to make way for luxary appartments, its currently a pay and display car park.
